Basilique du Saint Mathurin, France

This little intervention happend during our trip to Spain, in the french village Larchant. The Basilique du Saint Mathurin is a ruin since centurys. In our days the sanctuary and the intersection is roofed and used as a church. Walking around
in this impressing ruin, I saw the empty pedestals and being aware of the holy place and in adoration, I got into the space, where once was a statue of Christ.

Saint Mathurin was probably born in Larchant, where his relics were kept and he died ca. 300 AD in Rome. He is also invoked against mental illness.
